Viqarunnisa Alumni Australia is the first-ever alumni association formed outside Bangladesh to reconnect and unite former students of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College living in Australia. Established in March 2017, the association was founded by five visionary members: Dr Ifat Anjum (President, 2017–2019), Dr Fariza Sabrina (General Secretary, 2017–2019), Fadia Tasneem, Dr Suranjana Jennifer Rahman, and Tasrina Nahid Tonny.
Building on this foundation, the next Executive Committee, led by Dr Mahbuba Khanom Mukta (President, 2020–2022) and Dr Suranjana Jennifer Rahman (General Secretary, 2020–2022), took a significant step forward by officially registering Viqarunnisa Alumni Australia as a Charity Organisation under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). During their tenure, they successfully raised $20,000 AUD to support various organisations and individuals, including fellow Viqarunnisa alumni in need.
Continuing this legacy, the current Executive Committee, under the leadership of Dr Suranjana Jennifer Rahman (President, 2023 -2025) and Tasrina Nahid Tonny (General Secretary, 2023–2025), has expanded the association’s impact. During their term, they have raised an additional $22,000 AUD until December 2024 and extended outreach efforts across seven states and territories in Australia, fostering connections among Viqarunnisa alumni and supporting numerous charitable causes.
In 2025 , This EC had thei most anticipated project - VAAUS Grand Reunion 2025 .
